so there, we're done with 2007. resoutions aside, the following are some special mentions of people who made a difference to my life in the past year.

inevitably there were some clashes of personalities & perhaps bitching (to put it crudely), still the 12 months that flew by wouldnt be the same without y'all. i suppose not everyone will read this but take it as a proper closure of this memorable chapter lahh.

daddy & mummy: for the countless "talks", for waking up early to give me moral support for my exams, for staying up/fetching me home when i've meetings till late in sch, for being more accomodating abt my canoe trgs this yr, for eighteen years of love (:

bro & sis: for the noisy company at home, for the laughs and exchanging of stories over dinner, for the endless squabbling over the use of computer, for the rare msg of encouragement when i had a major exam/race, for standing on the same side to challenge the parents (:

hcanoe girls '06/'07 (yimtong, rimmel, sophielo, chiaming, lihui, yihang, xinyi, xinhui, sylvia, jac, jiaen, sophiasoh, anyi, amdis, jasmine, stella): i think the total amt of time i spent with y'all easily surpass the amt of time i spent paying attention in lectures. haha thankyou dearest teammates, each & everyone of you for the unfogettable moments we trained our guts out on water & on land, thru rain/shine/wind, tears & sweat. it was a mighty feat indeed, to clinch our team 2nd with sheer determination & unity and of course our ever-dedicated "assistant coaches" kaiwen, fiona & huiwen. (okay lahh the old man deserves credit for all his long-dist sms/calls/emails) i'll always rmb our early morning pull-up bar dates, running to central plaza/high sch aft that, gathering at bball court toilet to rush to mac aft sch, the j8 subway lunches and all the craaazy things we've done tgt. though the snrs dint get to know jasmine & stella very well, we're more than happy to have new additions to the team. really proud to have the ten of you as juniors. once more, hwachong canoeing girls whoosh!

hcanoe guys team '06/'07: whoaa i think we created history by holding the 1st exco meeting tgt. haha it was a gd experience lahh, to have such rapport with y'all, compared to our snrs' time. all the sharing of boats & other equipment, buying food during comps.. team spirit man.

06S67: the class with the most number of cca leaders in artemis. or shd i say tbb's all-time fav class. or maybe can fight with cwl lahh. haha i'll nvr forget all the times we almost got into trouble during lectures, our half-empty class when some of us had nationals/syf, our fav front row seats in LT3.. and how we turned into mugger mode as As drew nearer. thank you charmaine & wenqi (my dahling ppg) for the fun times fighting crimes, saving the day & driving ourselves insanekeeping the sanity. plus nooblet also lahh. haha and thanks ah ct rep, for the times you ponned flagraising so i end up collecting things under the bridge. kailin my chem consult partner, and other remedial grp khakis. we'll reunite as a class again in march.

artemis fac comm '06/'07 (chengxian, songjun, stelly, yi-en, monica, weixing, anne, michelle, haoqi, vivien): what an incredible year which culminated in winning the fac shield! all the formals & informals & inboxes flooded with emails sure bring back fond memories. including the food! haha crytal jade takeaway, macs delivery, noble house buffet! yummm. you guys rock (:

hayeeeatoii (ling, mary, cyn, mel, bobo, gen, lala, lou, xin, linna): I MISS YOU ALL! at last we're done with jc, hopefully we reunite in uni! it's definitely hard to organize a gathering with all eleven of us present but i know the sisterly love still exists from all the random msgs to say good luck and to let one another know we're all in this together.

JALYX (jialing, angkai, ling, xinpei): haha we're destined to be friends for life cos we know too many secrets & embarrassing things abt one another. i'd say we grew up tgt lahh hor. :D thank you for being there. lovey'all loads!

shuwei, pam, chirps, debbie, sara: even though we only catch up when our vet-to-be flies back from australia, it's always damn shiok to chill out tgt. haha qte paiseh to tell ppl abt the origin of our little clique right but hey which bunch of prefects are as funky as us to hang out after the pmb days :D

JX: will miss you when you leave for the states!

my cousins (rachael, becca, mich): it's a pity we dont get to see each other as often as when we were young but i'm glad i'm now old enough to go out with y'all! haha thank you for all the love and concern all these while (: and qi, my one & only fellow 18-going-on-19 cousin, it's great that we've become closer as time passed.

ryan (the sweet bf): thank you for being a constant source of support, for ur patience, tolerance & selfless love. it's been a tough journey so far but we finally made it to the day of official acknowledgement. cheers to us (: study hard and graduate soon!
